| What is the Harambee Learning Center?
The Harambee Learning Center was developed by the Kanawha Institute for Social Research & Action, Inc. (KISRA) in September 1998. Harambee is an after-school, safe and drug-free haven that is focused on preventing the onset of adolescent problem behaviors in children that attend Kanawha County schools by reducing their risk of academic failure. The Center has served over eight hundred children since its inception. | ||
